Thursday, September 7, 2017 is Boston Charter Day

9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Free admission to the Old South Meeting House for Massachusetts residents.

4:30 PM (1630 international time)

Bells will ring at churches throughout Boston, Dorchester, and Watertown, to celebrate "Boston's Birthday" - she is 387 years young!

4:35 PM (immediately following the bells)

Boston Founders Trail walking tour - Look for our leader, on the section of the plaza closest to to corner of Park and Tremont Streets

About the tour: The Boston Founders Trail is a 90-minute, guided walking tour of downtown Boston tracing the footsteps of the men and women who founded the town in 1630. You’ll learn the true stories of the Puritans and how they lived and worked in their new home. Discover the lost history of pre-Revolutionary Boston!

This tour helps humanize the city of Boston, by telling the human stories and lessons signified by its buildings, streets, statues.”
