Borges Ranch Family Walk
Sun, November 5, 2017, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM PST
Borges Ranch is nestled in the foothills of Mount Diablo at the southeast side of Shell Ridge. Join us for a hike from the historic buildings of this operational cattle ranch into the beautiful landscape of Shell Ridge, named after the remnant marine fossils from the ocean that once covered the area.
We will stroll along a moderate loop from the trail directly behind the Borges Ranch picnic area/play field past Bob Pond along the Costanoan Trail. Be sure to bring plenty of water, a snack, and dress in layers. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots recommended. Heavy rain cancels.
