Join Naima and musical guests as she shares her experience about working with incarcerated women in San Francisco County Jail and grapples with the questions,“What are the borderlands in our lives that mark ‘free’ and ‘unfree’? What are the ways that music and art can restore and transform lives and communities?”

This will be a special night as Naima will also be launching a fundraising campaign for her album and music project titled borderlands that envisions the power of music as a way to intervene on isolation and confinement of the incarcerated and beyond.
