Dear Friend of Brehon Family Services:
In celebration of Brehon’s 38th year of protecting children and nurturing families in the Big Bend, Boots for Babies 2017 planning is in full swing. Imagine a starry night over a huge old fashioned barn, friends kickin’ up their heels to live country music, delicious BBQ, spirited silent auction bidding, a marshmallow on a stick and a bonfire – having all that fun while supporting a great cause. Put on your cowboy boots and come celebrate while changing the lives of our friends and neighbors! The party is always better when you are there, so please consider sponsoring our Spring fundraising event, Boots for Babies 2017.
Without your support, we would not have the success stories we tell every day!
Brehon Family Services is a local non-profit and a United Way of the Big Bend affiliated agency celebrating 38 years of serving mothers and their infants. Brehon changes lives by providing vital support to prevent child abuse in Tallahassee and the Big Bend. Brehon House is the only area shelter that provides housing, education, career building and support services for homeless pregnant women as well as new mothers and their infants. Brehon also provides in-home parent education and support to hundreds of families in Gadsden, Leon, Madison and Taylor counties.
We are so proud of the success and impact of our prevention programs in the community. Did you know our prevention programs saved the community over $20 million last year alone? Donations in 2015 helped over 1,500 clients receive services, information for shelter, family support, household goods, baby items, clothing and education.
Boots for Babies 2017 is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we hope to earn your sponsorship and support. Thank you for your consideration, and we hope to see you at Boots for Babies!
