DAWN is hosting its 4th B.O.O.T.S. (Breaking Out Of The Silence) fundraiser on Saturday, February 23, 2013! We'll be taking a ride into the Wild Wild West.
Dust off your cowboy boots for a comfortable yet fun affair! For the first time ever, denim and jeans are encouraged!! Go crazy on plaid or gingham and be sure not to forget your straw hats!! Feel free to dress as slick as J.R. Ewing's relative on Dallas. It won't matter what you'll be wearing... as long as you put your BOOTS on!
Be ready to hee-haw and square-dance all night long at our wooden abode on Gallaudet campus. There will be country music, delicious appetizers, and southern hospitality! Also, be sure to bring a big bag of moolah as you'll have a chance to shop around our amazing selection of silent auction items and/or go big during the live auction!
a B.O.O.T.S. ticket gets you two free drinks, appetizers, and square dancing lessons

When & Where
Our mission is to promote healthy relationships and end abuse in the Deaf community of the Washington DC area. We do this in two ways:
– Providing survivors of abuse with help they need to heal and progress with their lives.
– Educating Deaf and hearing communities on the issues and how to foster positive relationships.
