Boom, Bust and Back: Navigating Your Career through the Business Cycles
It's easy to be at the top of your game when business is good and all indicators are going up. But how do you manage when the environment is more challenging (be it an internal or external factor) and your tasks are inherently more difficult?
As Investor Relations Director of Internet sensation CMGi, our speaker navigated through the top of the dot.com boom down to the trough of the bust. She then joined NetScout Systems, a technology company that foundered in the wake of the market’s collapse, then gained ground so that today it is a $400 million revenue company.
Learn how to keep your balance through the highs and lows of the business cycles; how to stay focused on your responsibilities and manage through stress; and how to decide between holding on to a position and preparing for a change.
Speaker: Catherine Taylor, Director Investor Relations, NetScout Systems. In this role Cathy is responsible for communicating with Wall Street, helping the investment community understand the company's technology, business strategy and financial results.
Registration: $15 for Boston Women In Finance Members, $35 Non-Members
