Description

Bookwormz

Too old for storytime? Join us for a book club instead!

We are excited to launch a new book club for children in grades 4-6. Beginning in February, we will meet once per month to discuss middle grade reads. Participants should come to the meeting prepared to discuss that month's book selection. Each meeting will also feature activities based on current book.

Book clubs are beneficial for kids. And, benefits extend beyond fostering a love of reading. Talking about what they liked (or didn’t like!) about a book will build kids' cognitive and verbal skills. At the end of the day, we hope our participants will come together, build relationships, and find their community.
