For 60 years starting in 1931, Reno was unarguably the place for things not possible elsewhere — gambling, divorce, and uncomplicated weddings. The images in this book come primarily from the Nevada Historical Society's collection of historic photographs.
You're invited for a 15-minute talk and slideshow followed by 5-minute Q&A at 6pm with the author, David Lowndes. The topic: "Some of the toughest photos to date and identify, and how it was done."
Book signing at 6:30pm.
RSVP not required, but we like it when you do.
