Event description

Description

Meet with other book-minded people while enjoying a pint (or two!) to socialize and talk BOOKS!

We're a book club at Wissahickon Valley Public Library in Blue Bell. We gather at a local restaurant in our library's service area (Ambler Borough, Lower Gwynedd and Whitpain Townships).

We meet every other month on the second Tuesday. Upcoming dates:

Tuesday September 12 - The Bad-Ass Librarians of Timbuktu and Their Search for the World's Most Precious Manuscripts by Joshua Hammer. Meet at Phil's Tavern, 931 Butler Pike, Blue Bell.

Tuesday November 14 - A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki

For Ages 21+ * Attendees responsible for their own purchases. CASH ONLY. Most restaurants cannot do multiple separate checks for our party size, therefore we must limit our meetings to 16 attendees. Early registration recommended.
