Introducing Bookmarked!, a new series from A+P highlighting literary artists of LA. In Bookmarked!, organizations and artists around the city will talk about and read from books and texts that inspire them. For the first installment, Asha Grant, founder of The Free Black Woman's Library-LA, will speak with South Los Angeles poet and professor bridgette bianca about her debut book of poetry, be/trouble. Asha and bridgette will be discussing bridgette’s process of writing poetry as well as reading excerpts from bridgette’s recently released collection of poems.
This program will be taking place virtually via Ring Central, powered by Zoom. This means that anyone interested in attending this program from anywhere in the world is welcome, all you need is an internet connection! Please RSVP (below) and the information for attending the program will be emailed to all of those on the list.
