Description

On April 12, 2018, Frank A. Blazich, Curator of Modern Military History at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, will visit the MacArthur Memorial to discuss Colonel David L. Hardee's memoir Bataan Survivor: A POW’s Account of Japanese Captivity in World War II. Bataan Survivor vividly portrays the valor, sacrifice, suffering, and liberation of the defenders of Bataan and Corregidor through the eyes of one survivor.
