Join us for Summer Crafternoons at The Book Nook. DIY Crafts for kids ages 6 and up led by instructor Angela from A Crafty Night Out. Must pre-register for this camp. Choosing this option registers you for all 6 classes at a $10 savings.

Session 1 July 17th: Sun Catchers. Kids will create Sun catchers using mason jar lids, and coloring pages, decorating with beads!

Session 2 July 24th: Painted flower pots with melty bead flower.

Kids will paint pots with acrylic paint and then follow a pattern to make a flower or Baby Groot with melty beads to "plant".

Session 3 July 31st:Decorate a fairy house and make a wand.

Kids will decorate a ceramic fairy house with paint pens, gems, glue, flowers, moss, beads and more.

Session 4 August 7th: Rock painting. We will discuss words that spread inspiration and kindness. Kids will be encouraged to paint at least one rock to gift to someone to spread cheer.

Session 5 August 14th: Make your favorite characters out of melty (Perler) bead.

Kids will follow patterns to make their favorite characters like Avengers, Pokemon, My Little Pony and many more our of melty (Perler) beads. They then can attach them to backpack clips, hair clips or a lanyard.

Session 6 August 21st: Pom Pom Monsters. Kids will create one of a kind monsters our of wrapped yarn, google eyes, felt, glue and more.


Bring a water bottle or purchase snacks/drinks from the hosting venue. Wear clothes ok to get glue or paint on.

Drop off or you are welcome to stay.

No refunds but tickets are transferable to another person.
