Innumerable Moons
Poems by Clarinda Harris
Art by Peter Bruun

The poems in this book all grew out of Harriss' experience as "significant other" and caregiver to a remarkable man as he descended into Alzheimer's Disease. She spent six years with him, many of which were happy. The poems show both the joys and distresses of those years. Peter Bruun, artist and former Baltimorean, created the drawings for the book as part of his "One Thousand Love Letters" project in which he illustrated a selection of poems by people who wrote about love in its many aspects.

Clarinda Harriss, a writer of poetry and fiction, is a professor emerita of Engish at Towson University and longtime publisher of BrickHouse Books, Inc. A Guilford resident, she has spent many years working with prison writers as well as fledgling writers from all over the has two United States. She has two children and five grandchildren who continue to awe and inspire her. Innumerable Moons is her seventh book.
