Book Club: The Sex Lives of English Women
Thu, April 6, 2017, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM BST
After hibernating for most of winter book club is back! We are kicking off this new series with ‘The Sex Lives of English Women’ by Wendy Jones, an enlightening and rather funny look at female desire. This is a collection of true stories bound to inspire and spark conversation. We will be reading two or three stories each time and discussing them as a group, no pre-reading is necessary and you don’t need to own a copy of the book (though you can purchase one if you wish to).
We operate a safe space policy which means we are explicitly anti-racist and anti-sexist. This space is LGBTQIA friendly, sex positive and body positive and the event is open to everyone of all genders, those who identify as agender and non-binary.
We will be meeting for 8 consecutive weeks on the following dates:
- 6th April
- 13th April
- 20th April
- 27th April
- 4th May
- 11th May
- 18th May
- 25th May
Each session runs from 6-8.30pm and there will be a break in the middle and time to socialise.
£5 to attend (paid to our venue hosts on the door) and this includes unlimited refreshments and snacks.
If you have any questions, please give us a shout.
Looking forward to (re)connecting and sharing,
