Come Celebrate Bonnie McDonald and Greg' Dixon's Wedding on Saturday, September 30th.

Unity of Vancouver 5840 Oak St Vancouver BC V6M 2V9

Doors open at 3 pm.

The ceremony is at 4:00 pm.

  • Tom Arntzen has genously offered to play piano before the ceremony. Worth the price of admission alone!
  • The ceremony will feature special performance by Special Guests Andrea Menard, Dave Barrette, and Linda Kidder.
  • Photos of family and groups taken just after the ceremony.
  • Marilyn Norry will MC the evening with her own unique style.
  • Dinner and toasts (roasts?) will happen at 5:30 pm.
  • Bonnie and Greg are preparing some of their signature dishes and all guests are invited to contribute a dish for an international potluck. What dish says the most about you and where you came from?
  • The wedding cake will be an adventure in itself. Bonnie has experience decorating cakes. Greg has none, but a history of beginners luck. The theme is travel showing their past paths and they have a large toy motorhome that will be poised to head off into their shared future.
  • Special guest performers and some of the groups that Greg has been involved with will perform short sets after dinner, including some of Greg's original songs.
  • Greg's former band Blazing Saddles will provide a high energy mix of country, rock, pop, Celtic, and whatever strikes their fancy to provide at least two hours of dancing.
  • Bonnie is asking for at least a few songs suitable for West Coast Swing. There may be some dance surprises!
  • Blazing Saddles will Party Til The Cows Come Home (or we need to get out of the venue:-)
