Join us at Seppeltsfield Winery for the annual French event “Bonjour Barossa” - a boutique and market-style French food, wine & cultural celebration.

Held the week prior to Bastille Day (French National Day) and includes ‘French foodie’ indulgences such as patisserie (pastries & desserts), boulangerie (breads & baked goods) and charcuterie (cured and smoked meats), along with other favourites of beef bourguignon, oysters, cheese, crepes and ice-cream.

Join us for cooking demonstrations by Le Cordon Bleu, live Parisian jazz music by Louise Blackwell and the French Set as well as an exclusive Pol Roger Champagne Lounge and Masterclass.

Discover the magic in your own back yard and be transported to the cobbled streets of Paris this Winter.

Family friendly - face painting, petanque (bocce) and Punch &Judy puppet shows.

Pre-purchased tickets $15 per person including etched Bonjour Barossa wine glass. Children under 18 free.

Yes, you will need to purchase an entry ticket and additional tickets to experience you wish you enjoy. The Junior Sous Chef Workshops for children are free of charge however tickets must be booked online.

Events Executive Chef Owen Andrews will provide you with a behind the scenes walking tour of some of the Seppelt families 19th and 20th century food sites. Be inspired by the food history of the Seppelt Bacon Haus, the 1882 Vinegar Haus and the Seppeltsfield Cooperage; here you’ll have an opportunity to sample some of Owen’s best kept secrets. Children can enjoy free face painting, the Le Cordon Bleu Junior Sous chef workshops (be sure to book your free tickets via Eventbrite link), dance to French tunes as well as enjoy Punch & Judy puppet shows and play area.

Is Bonjour Barossa a cash only event?

Bonjour Barossa is predominantly a cash only event. Eftpos facilities will be available at the Seppeltsfield wine bar however we recommend bringing cash for convenience as stall holders may not have their own eftpos facilities. An ATM is located on site next to the main Seppeltsfield Cellar Door carpark at Benno’s kiosk.

Do I need to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Either a printed ticket or ticket via phone application will need to be scanned on arrival. We would prefer you to download the app and save some trees.

Where can I park my car and is there a charge?

Parking will be available in the main Seppeltsfield carpark, located a short walk from the event location. Parking will also be available directly opposite the event however restrictions may apply to weather. Please take direction from the parking marshals on the day. Parking is FREE.

Are there buses running to this event?

There are no buses running to this event. Transport will need to be arranged on your own accord. Please drink and drive responsibly.

Yes, however it will be less the transaction fees. No refunds will be given 48 hours before the event.
