About this event

When learning to home-can foods, it is best to start with a waterbath canner. This canning method is simple, easy, and safe for acidic foods. This class will teach you the basics of using a waterbath canner, the science behind making a safe product and avoiding the risks, and you'll also learn where to find safe recipes and canning information. Participants will get hands-on practice canning during the workshop!
