Learn to piece together a Bohemian Wrap Skirt! These skirts are customizable and one of a kind. Beginning sewers are welcome! This is unique way to use small fabric scraps to create a beautiful project as well as to further develop your sewing skills. All materials are provided.

Kimberley Pierce Cartwright is a local fiber artist living in Durham. She is a member of the African American Quilt Circle of Durham. She specializes in small quilt projects and teaches classes in art quilt design, upcycled clothing, and fabric postcards.

Register for any class at least 3 weeks in advance and receive a $5 store voucher good towards the purchase of any materials in The Scrap Exchange retail store! Voucher will be handed out at the beginning of the class, and will be valid for two weeks. The voucher may not be applied to Cameron Gallery items or programs. This voucher will only be given to students who register at least 3 weeks prior to the start date/time of the class.
Refunds for class fees will be issued if the class is cancelled by The Scrap Exchange for any reason. If you register for a class and cannot attend, a refund will only be issued if you notify the Scrap Exchange at least 24 hours before the class begins.
