Event description

Description

Body casts are considered the perfect way to capture a memory, through the folds of your skin, your body can tell a story. In this body casting session, you can tell your story by creating an exact replica of your hand. If you are creative and enjoy being hands on, this is a great session for you. Come as a couple, group or an individual, everyone is welcome. To begin the session, Amanda will share her knowledge and skills, including a variety of examples. After testing the materials, you will create a mould of your hand. If you come as a couple/group it is possible to join hands. Following Amanda’s instruction, you will cast your mould in plaster creating an exact replica of your hand. Although your piece will take up to two weeks to fully dry, it can be taken away with you there and then to enjoy.

  • Ideal for: Anyone and everyone. Person’s under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult
