Time: Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Classroom sessions include:
- Benefits of annual ragweed and partridge pea plots for quail chicks and turkey poults
- Site and size recommendations
- Post establishment management techniques
- Supplemental feeding route planning and implementation
The afternoon sessions will be held in the field with topics including:
- Native plant identification and wildlife value
- Overview of forestry and agricultural management practices on the property.
