It’s with great excitement that I’ve been given the opportunity to return to serve once more in Pader, Uganda as one of the team leaders with an amazing group from the Ridge. The Uganda Kids Camp team will be heading to Pader, Uganda from January 7-18 for an incredible time leading a gospel-focused kids' camp (think: Vacation Bible School) alongside our friends at Pader Community Church and Africa Renewal Ministries. This team will provide support, encouragement, and God's truth to both kids and adults living in Pader, coming alongside the teachers and leaders of PCC and sharing in all that God is doing through His church in this part of the world. My first time there in 2015 was simply incredible and life-changing in how I serve Him and the people He has placed in my life.
The kids we will be with in Pader, Uganda are very much the kids ‘Invisible Children’ highlighted several years ago when the LRA were killing and abducting children in Northern Uganda. The population in this area is so young because of this (with nearly half the population under 15 years of age), so there is an incredible opportunity to capture the hearts of these kids and families for the Gospel. Pader Community Church is exploding right now and the only reason is Him. Here is a video of Pader, Uganda to give you a little perspective of where we will be.
We know that none of this is possible without God’s leading and the support of His people – through, most importantly, prayer and also financially in giving. For me to participate and assist in leading this trip, it costs close to $3,500.
Write: Bobby Uganda 2016 in the memo line. I promise it will go to the correct fund.
Thank you for being a part of my life and this journey He is taking me on. I appreciate your support, prayers, and knowing that He’s doing amazing things in the lives of kids and people all around the world! Let’s do this!
