BOB MARLEY Birthday Show w/NYC's Best Reggae Musicians-All-Ages Family Show
Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM (EST)
New York, NY
This afternoon's family-friendly Bob Marley Birthday Bash performance will celebrate the life and music of Bob Marley with a performance by the CCB, featuring NYC's hottest reggae artists.
Since emerging in 1996, the CCB has been tearing up the underground New York reggae scene with sold-out performances at some of the city's hottest venues. The group's ability to play a wide variety of idioms, an inspired group of special guests, and its celebration of herban life and music has earned CCB legions of inspired local fans, headline status at Boston's Freedom Rally and the Seattle Hempfest, and gigs backing diverse artists, from Rita Marley to George Clinton.
The CCB's annual Bob Marley Birthday Tribute show at B.B. King Blues Club has sold out every year since its inception in 1997, and the shows in 2014 should be no exception.
