Description

Celebrate a community tree planting and delicious afternoon tea!

Come and plant a tree with Cardinia Shire Council and Johns Hill Landcare at Bob James - Emerald Quarry Reserve on Sunday 19 May 2019.

This is a great opportunity meet new friends, help the environment and celebrate with an afternoon tea - including sampling the famous John's Hill Brownies. Tea, coffee and cakes will be provided. We will also be planting the endangered Emerald Star Bush.

The planting is from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

Park along Meadowview Lane and follow the signs to the planting site. Parking is limited so car pooling is recommended. Toilets will not be available.

What do you need to bring?

  • Gardening gloves

  • Water bottle

  • Suitable footwear

  • Rain coat or hat depending on weather.

Please register for catering purposes. Contact Council's Environment and Heritage team on 1300 787 624 or r.jones@cardinia.vic.gov.au for more information.
