A BSA International conference focusing on the development of the Boarding Team, its knowledge and skills.
10th & 11th January 2017
Marlborough College, Malaysia
Why you should attend?
Student behaviours, internet safety, student health and wellbeing, parental expectations, international culture clash or integration. Boarding schools are increasingly being asked to manage more and more difficult situations involving students and parents. In order to be able to meet these increasingly complex demands, boarding staff need to up their game and acquire new knowledge and skills. This conference will focus on the boarding team, and how through collaborative working they can best meet these challenges.
Who should attend?
This conference is aimed at all boarding staff! By looking at best practice, house parents, tutors, assistants and matrons will be able to explore their current working practices and reflect on where changes might result in improved support to vulnerable boarders or to increased engagement
