About this event
Welcome to the BMORE CLAY SERIES @ BARS- a place celebrating diverse creativity and clay for the people.
Session Two: Sculpture 101 with Victoria Walton and co-instructor Aaron Caldwell. Get ready for the best of both worlds. In this workshop, the instructors will demonstrate different methods of making sculpture. Victoria focuses on transforming flat pieces of clay into primary shapes for the figure, while Aaron coil builds to create zoomorphic forms. Instructors will assist participants as they determine their style of choice. Work will be fired and will be available to be picked up at the final event on July 23rd.
All instruction, materials, and firing of artwork are included. Please be advised that waivers for photography must be filled out at arrival. Be conscious when registering that these workshops are for the BIPOC community.
We are thankful for the support of The MSAC and Towson Ceramics Department for their support in making these programs possible.
