Event description
ONLINE Hi-intensity/cardio/light weight 75-minute dance class based on Body-Mind Centering® for those who love to move (M W F at 9:30 am )

About this event

Based on Body-Mind Centering®, this class begins with a lymphatic warm-up using an essential oil to stimulate the olfactory nerve and provide a central axis through the spinal column for the workout. Elements include balancing, lunging, weight lifting, cardio, isolations, kettle bell swings, sliding on paper plates while stretching bands overhead, and short blood flow restriction, all to great music!

Hi-intensity cardio based on Body-Mind Centering® principles stimulates all of your body's systems using weights, sticks, paper plates, stretchy bands and more while exercising to hot music online at https://zoom.us/

Register and the link will be sent to you. Sign on by 9:20am EDT on MWF. Class is an hour and 15 minutes from 9:30 am to 10:45 am EDT.

Sara was a professional modern dancer who became a certified teacher of Body-Mind Centering® in 1983 after earning a degree in Dance Therapy from NYU, then studied pre-med, became a certified personal trainer, a NYS-licensed massage therapist, and an ISMETA-Registered Somatic Movement Therapist. She recently became a Moving for Life: Dance Exercise for Health® Certified Teacher in Training.

She founded The NeuroMuscular Center, Inc. 30 years ago in Chelsea for people with injuries and disabilities needing massage, realignment, and corrective exercise. It is a calm place for natural pain relief, and now a studio for dance exercise online.

Her passion is to teach others the steps to a powerful body and peaceful mind!

She is very welcoming which makes it personal and cozy to be online, even in her glamorous environment. Cardio in the most fun way. Simply fantastic sophisticated work out! Review: "Today's class was the best yet!! You really pushed us and I loved how you seamlessly transitioned between the different sections. I love the very broad range of exercises you choose to challenge us and I'm finally starting to see my waist again ! What a great way to kick-off the weekend!"--Nancy G.
