Develop your swag!
Ever been to a party or wedding or party and seen couples twirling across the dance floor and thought, “That looks amazing but I could never learn”? Well, now you can. This class is all about teaching you a few simple moves that will make you look like an expert with minimum effort. We’ve taken out all the fancy footwork and complicated confusing bits, and just left in the “I’m looking totally awesome,” so you can bluff your way into looking like a genius on the dance floor. And the best bit is you don’t need any dancing experience at all!

You will learn some simple moves that will make you look like a professional but are easy and fun to do, plus we’ll even teach you what to do if you get a bit lost and panic.
Come as a couple, bring a friend, or come alone – we’ll cater to people who want to learn with a particular person, and also for people who just want to have a go and are happy to meet other people and dance with others in the class.

Your teachers Andy and Jo have been Swing and Blues dancers with over 5 years professional experience and have performed as part of the Harbour City Hoppers Swing dance troupe. Andy also teaches and DJ’s as part of a monthly Blues dance class and social night. They are both graphic designers by profession, vintage fashion aficionados by choice, and bad movie addicts by compulsion. You can usually find them on the dance floor or wherever there’s music.
