Blueprint for Baltimore Mayoral Forum
Event Information
About this Event
In October, November, and December, OSI-Baltimore and community partners CASA, Black Leaders Organizing for Change, Baltimore Votes, the No Boundaries Coalition, and Black Girls Vote surveyed thousands of Baltimore residents, focusing on some of the city's most marginalized communities, as part of the Blueprint for Baltimore survey.
The Blueprint survey results were released in January and OSI and its community partners will host a series of Mayoral and City Council President forums to ask candidates to respond to the people's priorities.
The first forum for Mayoral Candidates will be Feb. 5th with moderators Tom Hall of WYPR and Lisa Snowden-McCray of the Baltimore Beat and the Real News Network. Because of the limited time and the number of candidates, we will not be able to take questions directly from the audience, but all of the moderators' questions will be based directly on data in the Blueprint report, which reflects the priorities of more than 5,000 Baltimoreans.
Doors open at 6pm. $9 validated parking is available across the street in the PMI Garage at 815 E. Pratt Street. Bring your ticket to the museum’s main entrance to have it validated. Free on-street parking and metered parking is also available throughout the Harbor East and Little Italy neighborhoods.
Details of subsequent forums will be announced soon. Learn more about the Blueprint for Baltimore survey.
