Bluefire 2018 Award Celebration--Readings from $1000 for 1000 Words contest

Description
Please join us as we celebrate the young authors published in the 2018 edition of Bluefire, the literary journal of the Leyla Beban Young Authors Foundation. Bluefire publishes outstanding pieces of short fiction by students in grades 6-12 selected from our "$1000 for 1000 Words" creative fiction-writing contest.
The event will include:
- readings of the stories by the authors
- remarks from guest judge and award-winning young adult book author Misa Suguira
- a panel with the authors moderated by YA author Lindsay Tam Holland
- a mixer with the authors
- Bluefire journals
The event is free, but space is limited. Please reserve your place soon!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All ages are welcome!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is free parking in the parking garage under Kepler's Bookstore. There is also some free or low-cost parking off of Santa Cruz Avenue, across the street from Kepler's.
The Menlo Park CalTrain station is one block behind the bookstore.
The CalTrans ECR bus route stops in front of the bookstore.
