"A Question of Trust: Building Trusting & Productive Teams"

Overview: Although technology is an integral part of almost every work environment, today’s top leaders are not necessarily recognized for how well they manipulate technology; instead, they are rewarded for how well they are able to build trust and leverage the people resources within an organization.

During this opening keynote presentation to World Quality Week 2018, Susan Schwartz, PMP, will examine the role that trust plays within an organization, including the impact of trust taxes and trust dividends. As a take-away, she will share some simple and effective tools you can use to expand trust across your organization.

About the Presenter: Susan Schwartz, PMP, has led a variety of corporate and non-profit teams successfully through organizational change and brought projects to completion – on time and under budget. Over the course of her career, she developed unique methods to motivate cross-functional, global teams by combining process review, crucial conversation techniques, and knowledge sharing strategies. She has facilitated public courses and seminars for George Mason University Learning Solutions, the Project Management Institute, the American Society for Quality, and the Society for Human Resources. Her first book, Creating A Greater Whole: A Guide for Project Managers Becoming Leaders, was published in January 2018.
