About this event

When was the last time you felt totally calm, clear, and rested?

Sound healing is a relaxing, restorative experience that allows you to tune out the noise and tune into a theta state, or dream state, where deep healing, rest, balance, and connection are possible. Healing instruments that include crystal bowls, gongs, drums, chimes, and tuning forks help slow the brainwaves and raise the frequency of the body and energetic field.

During a sound healing session, we ground in the space, tune into our bodies and breath, and open with an oracle card reading and brief meditation that flows into 60 minutes of restorative sound.

For the best experience find a comfortable place to relax with an eye covering, and speakers or headphones.

How should I prepare for a soundbath?

Set up a private space for your soundbath where you will not be disturbed, though children and pets who might wander in and out sometimes end up joining you. It’s ok to eat a light meal and hydrate beforehand, but be aware you will be lying down for 60 minutes and might not want to get up to take a bathroom break. I recommend a yoga mat and blankets on the floor, with one pillow under your head and one under your knees to reduce the pressure on your back. You might choose to incorporate an eye covering, journal and pen, and glass of water standing by. You can also gather any small personal items to aid in your intention setting, such as a photo, crystal, or oracle deck. Wear comfortable clothing.

Set up your device close to a strong wifi connection and, if possible, pair it with speakers or a surround sound system. Noise-canceling headphones are also great.

Plan to be transported elsewhere, and it is common to fall asleep – the technical term is “a fancy nap.” This is an opportunity for deep relaxation. Do not drive or operate other machinery during a sound healing session.
