Panhandle ABA Resource Association (PARA) is hosting the BLUE MAN DASH 5K/Autism Awareness Walk.

Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 8am – Noon at Amarillo College Washington Street Campus at the Carter Fitness Center at 2201 S. Washington in Amarillo, TX.

5K at 8:00AM

Opening Ceremonies 9:30AM

Walk at 10:00AM - If weather permits we will walk together around Memorial Park. If it is too cold we will walk in the gym on the other side of the event in the Carter Fitness Center.

This is an official timed 5K race supported by Lone Star Runner's Club.

Runners: Packet pickup and registration will be Friday, April 12 at Amarillo ABA 6031 Bell Street from 5 -7pm

Late Registration between 7:30am - 7:50am at the event, race will start promptly at 8:00am.

We will also have an autism awareness walk that will also start at 10:00am, silent auction, kid-friendly activities, entertainment and refreshments.

This event also offers local businesses an opportunity to present their services that help individuals with autism and their families. If you would like a vendor booth just purchase the Vendor Booth Ticket. For Profit and Non-Profit each have their own ticket.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Kids 10 years and under are free.

Kids 11-17 years are $5 admission.

If you are 18 and over and want to attend the walk admission is $10.

Event shirts will be avalible in the following sizes (Just add a Shirt ticket to your Cart):

Youth sizes YXS - YXL cost $15

Adult sizes S-XL cost $15, there is a $2 extra charge for any additional X. (2XL $17, 3XL $19, 4XL $21)

What is included with the 5K?

5K event cost is $25, this includes admission to event, race entry fee, bibs, and tags. We will have standard brackets for females and males in the following catagories: 1-18 years, 19-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60-69 years.

Vendor Instructions:

Event begins at 8:00am, so please come early to find your booth location and have time to set up by 7:30am. Plan to have someone from your agency run the booth till noon.

Non-Profit Vendor Booth Ticket: $25

For Profit Vendor Booth Ticket: $50

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes or save your ticket on your mobile device as proof of payment.

Why is tax and Fees being charged?

Any event after October of 2018 online ticket sales have to charge tax. Since this is a fund raising event passing the credit card fees insures PARA maximizes what they can do for this wonderful community.

All Sales are Final No Refunds.
