The Bloomfield Development Corporation has begun a fundraising campaign in order to raise the money for new holiday lights! Please join us on Monday, December 7th from 5-7pm at Station restaurant, 4744 Liberty Ave. for the first holiday light fundraiser! Tickets to go sale soon. Each year The Bloomfield Development Corporation (BDC) proudly works to hang holiday lights along Liberty Ave. in Bloomfield. We recognize this as an important part of not only Bloomfield’s identity but also a powerful way to bring the neighborhood together and engender a sense community among neighbors.

Sadly, the lights we have been using for the past 20+ years are no longer in good condition and not safe to use. The cost to purchase new lights surpasses our current holiday light budget. As a result we have been forced to make the difficult decision not hang the holiday lights this year. This decision did not come to us lightly, but in order to be able to hang holiday lights in Bloomfield for years to come we must raise the funds to purchase new lights as well as cover the cost to hang, light, and store them each year.
