Crossing Point Arts: Bringing the Arts to Survivors of Human Trafficking

In our 10th year, we are in a state of wonder as survivor/artists in our programs BLOOM. They are being mentored by our longtime Teaching Artists and developing their business and writing skills, their painting and sculpting, their singing and songwriting, and ... most importantly ... we are employing them to teach arts workshops.

Please come and experience a survivor-led painting workshop (you'll paint to the live music of the talented Orphic Ensemble!), view a survivor art show/sale, learn about the power of the arts in the lives of trafficking survivors...eat, drink, and enjoy richly important conversations in a beautiful Greenwich Village courtyard and Gallery.

Crossing Point Arts

~~

Crossing Point Arts is a unique NYC nonprofit that provides workshops in the arts to survivors of human trafficking.  Using the healing and restorative power of the arts in expressive arts workshops, we help survivors to release trauma, reclaim their once-silenced voices and learn long-term coping strategies.

In workshop format, participants have the opportunity to be guided by Teaching Artists  in singing, song creation/recording, dance, visual arts, poetry, spoken word, fiber arts, and drama. Since 2013 we have reached nearly 7000 domestic and international  survivors, as NYC's only nonprofit solely dedicated to bringing the arts to survivors of human trafficking.
