Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Blood on the Harp bills themselves as simply Songs about Death. This macabre musical outfit creates a sound that harkens to an antique era of American music, with lush string arrangements that drift into rich gothic terrain. Every musical measure embraces traditional mountain music’s rustic sounds, steeped in cautionary tales of murder, deceit, and the devil himself. Backed by punk rock, jazz, classical violin, and outlaw influences, BOTH brings out the call of the grave. Combined, this band is a solemn turn of the century gospel melody with a modern day string band fusion.
Ben Provencial is an American singer-songwriter from Decatur, Georgia who has gathered fans from all across the globe. At a very young age Ben became fixated with creating music, starting out in the realm of blues and psychedelic rock. With over 10 years at his craft of playing the guitar, Ben is inspired by a wide range of singer-songwriters and soul folk artists, including: Ben Howard, Hozier, Matt Corby, Lewis Watson, Angus Stone, Trevor Hall, Alex Vargas and Jeff Buckley.
Ben released his first official music video for his single The Tales You Heard which was produced by Australian film crew, Rusty Shutter Films. Shortly after the video's release, Ben entered and placed #29 out of over 13,000 other songwriters for Guitar Center's Songwriter 5 Contest. He has been a finalist all three of the times he's ever performed at the famous Eddie's Attic Open Mic in Decatur, GA.
On February 14th, 2017, Ben debuted his first ever EP: Love & Ghosts. The record was recorded at Full Moon Studio in Watkinsville, Ga, and produced + co-written by Julian Bridges. Ben and the band will begin their Love & Ghosts U.S. Tour on March 31st, 2017.
Singer/songwriter Tim George writes and performs under the moniker "The Singing Butcher" for reasons more obvious than you might think: namely, he is a butcher who sings. However, it may be more appropriate to call him a singer who's hands are as equally adept at the knife as they are at the guitar. Tim's songs range from classic country influenced numbers to dark ruminations on the struggles of day to day life.
