This 4-week workshop via Skype video covers the basic building blocks of blogging. With a focus on “learning by doing,” attendees will walk in “civilians” and walk out as bloggers. The workshop will teach how to set up a blog, how to post text, links, images, audio, and video, as well as widgets gadgets, and search engine optimization. Along with technology, the workshop will also delve into key facets of “the art of blogging,” including strategies for driving traffic and growing an online community. REQUIRES WEBCAM, SKYPE and BROADBAND CONNECTION.
At the end of this session students will be able to:
Create a Blog
● Login to a blog “dashboard”
● Post text ● Post video
● Post images
● Create and Post Audio
For everyone on the call to see video, each person needs:
- a webcam
- a broadband connection
- Skype 5.0 or higher or the Skype business version.
