O Tony Simon ή Blockhead όπως είναι πλέον γνωστός γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στο Manhattan της Νέας Υόρκης. Γιος καλλιτέχνη, αγάπησε από νωρίς τη μουσική και πιο συγκεκριμένα το hip hop. Πολύ σύντομα, ο ίδιος και ο κολλητός του Aesop Rock άρχισαν να δημιουργούν μουσική μαζί και να την ανεβάζουν στο τότε ακόμα άγονο internet. To 2000 κυκλοφόρησαν το album του Aesop Rock "Float" που έμελλε να εκτινάξει το status και των δύο σε "κλασικό" με την πρώτη κιόλας κυκλοφορία τους. Μετά από αυτό ο Blockhead αποφάσισε να κυκλοφορήσει ένα breakbeat album στη Mush μέχρι να καταλήξει στη θρυλική Ninja Tune με την οποία και έχει κυκλοφορήσει μέχρι σήμερα 5 προσωπικά albums.
Πέρα από τα solo albums του, o Blockhead είναι μέλος του group "Party Fun Action Committee" της Definitive Jux ενώ οι παραγωγές του εκτός από τον μόνιμο συνεργάτη του Aesop Rock περιλαμβάνουν καλλιτέχνες όπως οι Murs, Slug, Mike Ladd, Cage, Open Mike Eagle, Maclethal, SA Smash, Isaiah Toothtaker, Illogic και άλλοι πολλοί. Επίσης έχει ριμιξάρει ένα ευρύ φάσμα μουσικών από τους Majesticons και Omega One μέχρι τον Emancipator και τη Fionna Apple ενώ οι περιοδείες του τα τελευταία χρόνια περιλαμβάνουν ονόματα όπως ο Aesop Rock φυσικά αλλά και Dj Cam, Amon Tobin, Bonobo, Kid Koala και Coldcut μεταξύ άλλων.
Τo live του στην Αθήνα αν και στα πλαίσια προώθησης του πέμπτου και πιο πρόσφατου album του "Interludes After Midnight" θα περιλαμβάνει και τις καλύτερες στιγμές της δισκογραφίας του και όχι μόνο μιας και είναι η πρώτη φορά που εμφανίζεται στη χώρα μας.

Kill Emil
O Kill Emil είναι ένας Hip-Hop downtempo παραγωγός και beatmaker από την Αθήνα. Η ικανότητα του να δένει hip-hop beats με τους δικούς του upbeat ρυθμούς δημιουργούν πολύπλοκες συνθέσεις πέρα από τους τυπικoύς λουπαρισμένους downtempo ήχους. O ήχος που βγάζουν τα "οργανικά" instrumentals του έχει ωριμάσει τα τελευταία χρόνια παραμένοντας πάντα φρέσκος και τωρινός. Οι πιο εντυπωσιακές του δουλειές μέχρι σήμερα είναι το περσινό "Salvation" LP αλλά και το "Lights & Shadows" LP του 2014 που καθιέρωσε τον "earthy hip hop sound" του Kill Emil.

Elephant Phinix
Γεννημένος στο Sunderland της Αγγλία και μεγαλωμένος από νεαρή ηλικία στην Αθήνα. Η τάση του προς τη μουσική άρχισε να παίρνει μορφή στην ηλικία των 18 όταν και άρχισε να ηχογραφεί τα freestyle του και να συνθέτει τραγούδια με τους φίλους του. Μετά από μερικές ομαδικές κυκλοφορίες, ;ένα πρώτο ΕP και δύο πολύ σημαντικές συνεργασίες με Blend & Kill Emil κυκλοφόρησε τα πρώτα του προσωπικά albums "Patience is Gold" (2012) & "Gutter Twinz" (2013) στην Beatquick. Αυτήν τη εποχή ετοιμάζει το τρίτο του προσωπικό LP με τίτλο "Blood on Beats".

Error404 είναι το alias ενός αινιγματικού μουσικού παραγωγού προερχόμενου από την τσιμεντένια καρδιά της αρχαίας πόλης των Αθηνών. Παγιδευμένος στον τελευταίο όροφο ενός ψηλού κτηρίου στον αστικό λαβύρινθο της περιοχής των Αμπελοκήπων, ο Error404 περνάει όλη τη νύχτα δημιουργώντας μερικά απο τα πιο άρρωστα beats και λούπες που θα ακούσετε ποτέ. Είτε πρόκειται για dubs εμπνευσμένα απο 80s Balearic, είτε για ήχους από παλιές κασσέττες Memphis rap, o Error έχει την ικανότητα να τα εντάσσει ολα στο σωστό πλαίσιο και βουτώντας τα σε ένα λουτρό γεμάτο THC, να καταλήγει παντα σε ένα αποτέλεσμα στο οποίο δεν μπορείς να αντισταθείς.

Blockhead (US)
Tony Simon AKA Blockhead was born and raised in Downtown Manhattan, in New York City. The son of an artist, he found a fondness for music at a young age. In particular, he fell in love with Hip Hop. In his early teens he began penning rhymes and eventually was part of a group called The Overground with a bunch of his friends. While he loved rapping, he also always had an interest in the musical side of things so he would soon abandon his dreams of being a rapper for being the man who made the beats. This was a wise choice. Eventually, he and his friend Aesop Rock would meet and begin to make music together and release it on the internet. In 2000, Aesop's album Float was released on Mush Records and quickly propelled both Aesop and Blockhead into notoriety. After that, Blockhead released a breakbeat album on Mush called Blockhead's Broke Beats. After a few years more years of making beats for rappers, Blockhead put out his first solo instrumental record on Ninja Tune records , titled Music by Cavelight. This was the first of five critically acclaimed albums he has since released on the UK based label. He also was one half of the comedy rap duo Party Fun Action Committee, which was released on Definitive Jux records in 2003. As well as making solo albums and working with Aesop, blockhead has also worked with artists like Murs, Slug, Mike Ladd, Cage, Open Mike Eagle, Maclethal, SA Smash, Isaiah Toothtaker, Illogic and others. Blockhead has also been busy touring the last 9 years with groups like Aesop Rock, Dj Cam, Amon Tobin, Bonobo, Kid Koala, Cold Cut, Emancipator, and many others.
Kill Emil (GR)
Kill Emil is a Hip Hop-Downtempo producer and Beatmaker from Athens, Greece. He laces hip hop-based beats with his own upbeat rhythms to go above and beyond typical looped downtempo sounds. His sound and his warm instrumentals border on otherwordliness has matured immensely while always staying headnoddingly fresh. His most impressive releases to date have been his “Salvation” LP which dropped back in September, and the “Lights & Shadows” LP from 2015, which solidified his esoteric and earthy sound .
Elephant Phinix (GR)
Born in Sunderland UK ,city of the black cats, moved to Athens Greece at an early age.Always was a music lover but the attraction towards the microphone & rapping started from just freestylin over beats & making tracks with friends around the age of 18. "Athens Burns" was the beginning for him and the graffiti crew it represented helped him think out of the box and see rapping from a more serious prospective and give more attention to the lyrics. Along with a group of friends they released an album called 'Psyclowns' in 2006 & in 2008 with the same group of artists an album called 'Fulleffekt-Take as needed' while at the same period of time he released his first EP 'Capital Rats'. In 2009 he met Blend and their passion for sticky green poetry had the conclusion of 4 tracks on Blends album 'Sudden Death'. One of the tracks from the album 'Press Forward' was also released featuring remixes from producers such as Bnc, Ekelon, B.Q & J.Melik and more. He also was featured on Kill Emil's debut album 'The Corner' with 3 tracks. In 2012 he released his first album entitled 'Patience Is Gold' from Beat Quick. In 2013 he participated in a compilation album featuring all Beatquick artists entitled 'We Like It Raw' and after that another EP was released: 'Halfaneye' (J.Spets / Elephant Phinix) with production by Leaf Dog.He released his second album 'The Gutter Twinz' with production by Noaone on the 10th of June. 2014 came with a lot of collaborations with other groups & mcs.Except that he released Four singles : 'The Cat, Toothless (Mononome RMX), Blind Talking To The Deaf & The Providers'.Now he is in the making of his new album entitled 'Blood On Beats'.
Error404 (GR)
Error404 is the alias of an enigmatic producer hailing from the cement heavy heart of the ancient city of Athens. Trapped on the top floor of a high rise building in the urban maze of Abelokipoi district, error404 is up all night chopping, dragging and screwing some of the illest beats and loops you'll ever download. Whether it be dubs of 80s Balearic standards, or chops of old Memphis rap cassettes, Error has the ability to re-contextualise, dip them in a bath of THC and come up with a result that will have you begging for more.
