Description
This workshop aims to bring together leading experts in the fields of
- blockchain technology (distributed ledger technology) and
- social entrepreneurship/sustainable energy entrepreneurship in the context of global goals /Agenda2030
The event aims to facilitate mutual learning and cooperation on the development of concrete project initiatives for youth focused sustainable energy entrepreneurship which shall deliver high positive social, environmental and economic impact and large scale youth job creation effects.
The event builds on
- the outcomes of a series of UN associated events in the field of Youth, Social Entrepreneurship for Agenda 2030 and Blockchain (workshop held at UN in Vienna in January 2017, SDG9 breakout session at ECOSOC Youth Forum 2017 in NY and CSocD side event at UN HQ in NY February 2018) organized by UNIDO and IAAI
- thematic leadership of the Republic of Slovenia in the field of social entrepreneurship and blockchain technology (e.g. European Blockchain Summit 2018, Brdo pri Kranju )
- the outstanding additional expertise of the partners and experts invited to the event
