• Proceeds of Crime and Terrorist Financing Act

• Money Service Business (bitcoins)

• Other influential Canadian and international cases involving bitcoins

• Upcoming Legal developments: International regulatory regimes, international convents (MTGOX Bankruptcy) and the Canadian Senate committee on Banking and Trade recommendations on Virtual Currencies.

• How the blockchain works

• Digital tokens (securities, shares, property, service contracts, etc.)

• Regulation and legality of Digital Tokens (AKA: Coloured Coins)

• Public blockchains (confidentiality of client data)

• Private blockchains (security of client data and accounts) • How the blockchain can currently be applied or adapted to for uses in a law firm:

o File management (privacy issues)

o Georgian Land Titles on Bitcoin blockchain // Ukraine Land Titles on The Ethereum Blockchain

o The lawyers’ new role in blockchain assisted real estate transactions (Undertakings and trust conditions, security, etc.)
