About this event
A blockchain is a distributed database that stores information in blocks and is shared among the nodes of a computer network. With each new datum that comes in, a new block is created and stores the information, which is further chained onto a previous block. This process chains multiple blocks together, hence, blockchain.
Blockchains go hand-in-hand with cryptocurrency by verifying crypto transactions. Once a crypto transaction is verified, a new block is created to the existing blockchain, and the transaction is completed. Cryptocurrency is getting hotter and hotter as companies and individuals scramble to hop on the bandwagon.
On March 26th, IDEAS will be hosting a webinar with a special guest and Chief Product Officer at BlockSpaces, Chris Tyler. Join us for an inspirational and educational webinar about blockchains and cryptocurrency. Drawing on his board of experience, Chris Tyler will highlight the key points of blockchains and cryptocurrency.

Chris Tyler is currently the Chief Technology and Product Officer at BlockSpaces. Chris graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. He seeks to make blockchain participation cost-effective, simple and fully integrated into existing business systems.
