You can attend LIVE (in New York) and ONLINE (we will send you login information prior to the event).

AGENDA:

I. Introduction to Blockchain Technology
II. Tokens and Crypto-Currencies
III. Fine Art as an Asset Class
IV. The Tokenization of Art: what it means, how it works, and what the benefits are.
V. Putting it all Together: How the Blockchain will be utilized for Commerce in the Fine Arts world.

DESCRIPTION:

Of the myriad new technologies to arrive on the scene in recent years, none has demonstrated the potential for a more profound and far-reaching impact than that of the Blockchain.

With concrete implementations already underway in the Banking, Real Estate, Government, Health Care, and Finance sectors, the Blockchain is also starting to change the transactional and operational landscape of the Fine Arts world. As such, whether you’re an Art Dealer, Gallery owner, (Art) Collector or (Art) Investor, understanding Blockchain technology is not only crucial to your staying relevant but can give you an edge in your field.

In this non-technical yet still in-depth talk, we will break down the Blockchain’s core principles, mechanics and applications in a way that is simple to understand, giving you the necessary foundation to assess and evaluate how you might incorporate it into your specific work environment.
