A Block Action Team (BAT) is a group of neighbors who:

• Connect: Know each other and have group events (AKA block parties)
• Care: Watch out for those around them and prevent crime
• Prepare: Work together to be ready in case of emergencies

Block Action Teams (BATs) are supported by Neighborhood Watch, the City of Los Altos, and our First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS, etc.).

Your neighborhood ("block") will also become eligible for Neighborhood Improvement/Community Emergency Preparedness Grants by being an officially registered Block Action Team. For more information visit losaltosbat.org.
