Detroit Neo-Classical pianist BLKBOK joins Ann Delisi on Tuesday, June 20th at 7:30pm at Willis Show Bar for an intimate performance and conversation to commemorate Juneteenth and the release of his new album. During the pandemic, BLKBOK composed and recorded a number of solo classical piano pieces titled “Black Book” which set his career on a remarkable path that is far different from his days of touring with Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and John Mayer on some of the biggest stages in the world. His work as a solo artist illustrates his vast experience as a classically trained musician and thoughtful composer. He is an artist with a vision to illuminate awareness for all, and encourage dialogue and counterpoint in the way we perceive ourselves and the world we live in together.

BLKBOK will discuss work and life with Ann Delisi, perform songs from his latest album, and take questions from the audience during this special evening to benefit WDET.

Please note that Willis Show Bar is a 21+ venue
