In the game of Blind-Tasting Bingo, a chef presents players with 15 distinct bites that players taste with their eyes covered, seeking to identify the items on a non-traditional bingo board that includes both correct and false options. A few lucky winners take home a bottle of local booze!
Masterful Thai chef Nong Poonsukwattana (Nong's Khao Man Gai) is kicking off the six-month Blind-Tasting Bingo series with thoughfully composed bites true to her Southeast Asian roots. Poonsukwattana has built a local cult following and received national press for her one-dish carts, featuring khao man gai, a soulful chicken and rice dish. Asked about her bingo night, she tells players, "Stay passionate, stay hungry. Come with me for an Asian spice adventure. You will love it!" With all she's been able to create with one dish, we can't wait to taste Nong's flavor tour of SE Asia off the beaten path!
Alongside the games, local beverage artisan Merit Badge Co. will be onsite to provide a cash bar of creative libations that complement Nong's creations.
