Event description

Description

The continuing techniques class is for students who have taken 'Introduction to Blacksmithing' or who have prior experience. In this 5-week class you will learn more advanced methods for forming steel. The class will focus on two aspects, decorative techniques (basic animal heads, ornate twists, etc.), and the forging and heat treating of simple tools like chisels, punches and stamps. Class size is limited to 7 participants to ensure everyone receives one on one instruction.

Please note that this is a 5-week class meeting on Mondays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm (Mar 11, 18, 25, Apr 1, 8). Participants must be able to attend all class sessions.
