Keith Waldrop and Rosmarie Waldrop read from their latest book, Keeping/the Window Open: Interviews, Statements, Alarms, Excursions.

OCTOBER 28

Angie Estes, the author of Parole, reads with James Arthur, whose most recent book is The Suicide’s Son.

NOVEMBER 4

Elizabeth Bradfield reads from her new book, Toward Antarctica, with Sara London, whose new collection is Upkeep.

NOVEMBER 18

Jill McDonough reads from Here All Night, with Rage Hezekiah, whose debut collection is Stray Harbor.

DECEMBER 2

Rafael Campo reads from Comfort Measures Only: New and Selected Poems, 1994–2016, with Joan Naviyuk Kane, whose most recent book is Milk Black Carbon.

DECEMBER 9

Ilya Kaminsky reads from his new collection, Deaf Republic, with Andrea Cohen, whose latest collection is Nightshade.




About the Blacksmith House Poetry Series

Founded in 1973, the award-winning Blacksmith House Poetry Series brings established and emerging writers of poetry and fiction to Harvard Square. We hold readings at the Blacksmith House at 56 Brattle Street, site of the village smithy and spreading chestnut tree of Longfellow’s 1839 poem "The Village Blacksmith."
