Description

All readings take place on Mondays at 8pm in the Spiegel Auditorium at 56 Brattle St., Cambridge. $3 Admission.

Bob Hicok, whose latest poetry collection is Hold, reads with Matthew Lippman, author of A Little Gut Magic.

Christian Wiman, author of He Held Radical Light: The Art of Faith, the Faith of Art and Hammer is the Prayer: Selected Poems, reads with David Baker, whose most recent poetry collection is Swift.

Charles Coe, whose latest book is Memento Mori, reads with Don Bogen, author most recently of Immediate Song.

May 6

Rafael Campo reads from Comfort Measures Only: New and Selected Poems, 1994–2016, with Jessica Greenbaum, whose new book is Spilled and Gone.




About the Blacksmith House Poetry Series

Founded in 1973, the award-winning Blacksmith House Poetry Series brings established and emerging writers of poetry and fiction to Harvard Square. The series is sponsored by the Cambridge Center for Adult Education and holds readings at the Blacksmith House, site of the village smithy and spreading chestnut tree of Longfellow’s 1839 poem "The Village Blacksmith."
