DESCRIPTION
This hands-on workshop is intended for faculty who are new to Blackboard - no prior Blackboard experience is necessary. This workshop will cover topics such as how to log into your Blackboard account, navigating the Blackboard interface, creating content areas, adding tool links, and how to get help.

OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this workshop you will be able to:

Access Blackboard Learn and login to your account
Navigate the Blackboard interface
Create/edit/show/hide content areas in the main course menu
Get help within Blackboard and access the ScreenStep guides
Add tool links to the main course menu
Create Items, Learning Modules, and Content Folders
Determine the best format for adding documents and presentations to your course site
Add Users, such as Teaching Assistants and other instructors, to your course
Use Properties and Teaching Style to customize your course
Use the Student Preview button to switch to a "student view" of your course site
Enable email notifications for the Message tool
