Black Women Navigating the Workplace: Moving from Surviving to Thriving

This professional development session will focus on strategies that improve the  support and advancement of the needs of black women in the workplace. As stated in the Forbes.com article How To Be An Ally For Black Women In The Workplace “Despite an increased focus on diversity, equity and inclusion within companies, the daily experience of Black women in the workplace hasn’t improved in the last few years.” Black women often face unique challenges related to the intersectionality of gender and race which often creates a negative employee experience.

This session is designed for black women and open for organizational champions, allies and leaders that want to influence and drive an impactful work experience.
