About this event
SUNDAY, January 1, 2023 3-5p, is yet another special meet-up for us. Not only is it the first day of 2023 but it is the last day of Kwanzaa, which is representative of the principle, Imani meaning faith. We thought it would be very fitting for this meeting up to be a bit more hands on and feature a special vision board and/or vision journal creating session.
And what better person to lead this activity than my creative sistah, Ayanna Molina of True Love Movement. Ayanna is an MC and poet, affectionately known as Fiyah Like Ayanna or Mama Fiyah. She is a published author of multiple books, a certified counselor, the founder and producer of the amazing festival showcase/workshop/market event called Womanifest and more.
Ayanna has been creating change and healing in the lives of many people, especially Black women. It is an honor to have her as our featured creative woman this meet up and I am excited about how this will help to propel us into the New Year!
Bring some magazines, journals, and supplies if you would like, but we will also have some ready to share with you. Donations are greatly appreciated, however it is not required to come and share this sisterhood with us.
Location information will be provided in advance to all who RSVP and follow the requested instructions.
Hope to see you then!
